This policy explains our position on cookies and similar technologies on enablai.co.uk. It sits alongside our privacy policy.
1. The short version
This website sets no cookies. It also uses no analytics, no tracking, no advertising pixels, no embedded video, no maps, no chat widgets, and no third-party fonts. Nothing is stored on your device to identify you or follow you between visits.
Because nothing on the site requires your consent, we do not show a cookie banner. There is nothing to consent to and nothing to switch off.
2. What these technologies are
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Technologies that work like cookies include local storage and session storage, pixels and tracking tags, and software development kits in embedded content. Where this policy says "cookies" it means all of them. We use none of them on this site.
3. What does happen when you visit
When your browser requests a page, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, Inc., records a standard server log — your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the date and time — for the purpose of operating and securing the site. That is not a cookie and nothing is stored on your device. The log, and how long it is kept, are described in §2.1 of our privacy policy.
If you send us a message through our contact form, your submission is processed by Formspree, Inc. Submitting the form does not set a cookie. What we do with your message is described in §2.2 of our privacy policy.
4. The rules we work to, and what changed in 2026
Cookies are governed in the UK by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 ("PECR") and, where they involve personal data, by the UK GDPR. PECR requires prior consent for storing or accessing information on your device unless an exemption applies.
On 5 February 2026 the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 changed PECR in three ways. We describe them here for context only, because none of them currently affects this site:
- Three new consent exemptions. A new Schedule A1 to PECR removes the prior-consent requirement for cookies used purely for statistical purposes — audience measurement to improve the service — for adapting the appearance or your display preferences, and for emergency assistance. The first two are conditional on the website telling you clearly about them and giving you a simple way to object.
- A wider definition. The rules now catch the instigation of storage or access, not only storage or access carried out directly. Third-party tags a site causes to fire are squarely that site's responsibility.
- Much larger penalties. The maximum PECR fine rose from £500,000 to £17.5 million or 4% of global annual turnover, matching the UK GDPR.
Everything outside those exemptions — advertising, retargeting, cross-site tracking, profiling, social media pixels, session recording — still requires prior opt-in consent. We set none of it.
5. If this changes
We may in future decide to add a tool that sets cookies — for example privacy-preserving audience measurement. If we do, we will:
- update this policy first, listing every cookie by name, provider, purpose, and duration, before the tool goes live;
- where the cookie falls within a consent exemption, give you a clear description and a simple way to object, as the exemption requires;
- where consent is required, add a consent mechanism and set nothing until you have agreed.
The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
6. Controlling cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and you can do so without affecting this site because it sets none. Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge each publish instructions in their help centres, and allaboutcookies.org covers them generically.
